What We Believe
We believe in the Holy Trinity that consists of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There is one eternal God, with three distinct persons. God made the universe and everything in it. God also made man in his image. He gave us free will, and unfortunately, we chose to disobey His Word, and sin entered the world when Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge. The consequence of sin is death, and every man is a sinner. God had a plan in order to make us justified once again by the Father. God sent his one and only son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins. He was crucified, died, and on the third day rose again. He conquered death, allowing everyone who believes in Him access to eternal life in Heaven. The only way to be redeemed by God the Father is through the Son and accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and savior. His blood allowed us to be made clean of our sin and washed away all our iniquities. Once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are born again. Once we take this step of faith, we should follow our Saviors example and become baptized with water. This outward act signifies the washing away of our sin. We are reborn and made a new creation that is founded on the cornerstone Jesus Christ. The Bible is the word of God, and when we read both the Old and New Testament, we have access to God’s instruction for our lives. We cannot change the Bible to fit our own personal agenda, instead we must be faithful disciples and allow His will to be done in our lives. When we pray in Jesus’s name, we can have a direct relationship with God and constant dialogue with Him. The Bible states that in this world we will have trials, but God will use everything we go through for our good. The Apostle Paul states this best in Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” God has given us all a testimony. He wants us to share our testimony and spread the gospel making new disciples. God has made us all for a specific purpose. We must submit to His will and answer His unique calling for our lives.
